Born March 12, 1943, in Chicago to an Army Counterintelligence officer
and an actress. Paternal great grandmother was a well known Dutch psychic;
Maternal grandmother belonged to the Theosophical Society which brought
Yogananda to the United States. Susan lived in Occupied Japan as a child
as well as Arkansas in the fifties and San Francisco in the sixties. She
is a children's activist and has been an active supporter of human rights
throughout her life. She produced a television show, People Making a Difference,
and is the author of Being Your Multidimensional Parallel Self.
